Using West Coast Teltech's Phone Menu
Once you dial your access number, if you want to perform advanced features, press the [*] key to access the special functions menu.
[*] (STAR) ACCESS THE MENU
[0] TRANSFERS CALLER TO CUSTOMER SERVICE
[1] CHANGE PASSWORD
- To Change Password Press [1]
- You will be prompted to enter your box number
- You will be prompted to enter your password
- You will be prompted to enter your new password
(the new password must contain four numeric digits)
- The system will verify your new password
- Press [1] if you are happy with this password or any other
digit to cancel
[2] LISTEN TO CALL COUNT
- To listen to your call count press [2]
- When calling from home:
- You will be prompted to enter your password
- The system will state your call count
- When calling away from home you must identify yourself
to the system:
- You will be prompted to enter your box
number
- You will be prompted to enter your
password
- The system will state your call
count
[3] PAY YOUR BILL
- To pay your Teltech bill via credit card press [3]
- When calling from home:
- You will be prompted to enter your
password
- You will be prompted to enter your credit card
number followed by [#]
- You will be prompted to enter the amount you wish to
pay
- Enter the amount using the [*] as the decimal point followed by [#]
- The system will verify your
transaction
- Press [1] to confirm or any other key to
cancel
- When calling away from home:
- You must identify yourself to the
system
- You will be prompted to enter your box number
- You will be prompted to enter your password
- Proceed as above
[4] FREE TRIAL
- To register for a free trial press [4]
- This feature is for those who are not Teltech
customers but would like to try a ten-day free trial
[5] PLACE A CALL
- To place a call press [5]
- When calling from home you may need to check your call
count or pay your Teltech bill. Upon completion of inquiry simply press
[#] to terminate call or [5] to place a call
- When calling away from home you must identify yourself
to the system:
- When the system answers press [*] followed by [5]
- You will be prompted to enter your box
number
- You will be prompted to enter your
password
- You will then be prompted to enter the number you
wish to reach
- Enter the ten-digit number (604-XXX-XXXX)
[6] CLEAR CALLER ID
- To clear caller id press [6] when calling from home
- When the system answers press [*] followed by [6]
- This will clear caller id allowing you to use an
incoming extension belonging to anyone else on the Teltech
network
- To call press [5] then the incoming extension
number
[7] SPEED DIAL
- When the system answers press [*] followed by [7]
- Press a single number ([0] to [9]) for the stored number of your choice
e.g.: if Mom's number is programmed into speed dial 3,
then when the system answers, press[*][7][7] to dial Mom.
[7][*] PROGRAM A NEW SPEED DIAL NUMBER
- When the system answers press [*] followed by [7] then [*]
- Press a single number ([0] to [9]) for the stored number of your choice
- Enter the 10-digit number of your choice
- When asked for conformation press [1]
| Speed Dialing Tips |

If you wish to speed dial when identifying yourself
simply continue to enter your box number, password and the number you wish to reach
with out stopping for the prompts.
If, when entering the number you wish to reach you forget to use 604, simply
press the [#] key after the 7 digit number and the system will
automatically insert 604 for you with no need to redial.
If you make a dialing error when entering the number you wish to reach,
you may press [*][5] instead of redialing. This will allow you to re enter your number
Please remember you must now dial 10 digits (including the 604) to place your call on the Teltech system.
[*] will always bring you back to the start of the menu.

[8] TO PLACE A CALL TO ABBOTSFORD or MISSION
- Use this to call Abbotsford or Mission when outside the local calling area
- When the system answers press [*] followed by [8]
- You will hear "Please hold while I transfer your
call"
- Upon hearing the dial tone enter the number you wish
to reach
[9] TO PLACE A CALL TO CHILLIWACK
- When the system answers press [*] followed by [9]
- You will hear "Please hold while I transfer your call"
- Upon hearing the dial tone enter the number you wish to reach
[#] TERMINATE CALL
- By pressing [*] [#] you will exit the menu and your call will be terminated
